The Pages You Need for an AWESOME Shopify Website

Shopify is going to automatically create some pre-built pages for you depending on the template you choose. These pages include

  • Home page as designed in the template
  • Collections pages which lists out the products specific to that collection (category)
  • Collection List which is a list of the different collections you have available.
  • Blog which you can use, or leave alone if you don't plan on blogging
  • Cart page for your online shoppers
  • 404 page which will be displayed if someone tries to go to a page that does not exist.

Additional Pages You Need to Create...

  • An About Me page so people get to know the person behind the screen
  • Contact page so people know how to get in touch with you!
  • Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page to address the most common questions your customers will ask, such as shipping, delivery methods, etc
  • Privacy Policy this is becoming a requirement around the globe and definitely needed to help maintain visibility of your website.
  • Terms of Service page that clearly outlines rules that a client must agree to before they can engage in services
